This is a clip from the documentary The Color of Fear. It is a good clip to show the kind of dialogue taking place within the film. We watched it in a Social Psychology class that focuses on Social Justice and Diversity. This movie brings up some raw, painful realities for people of color. It also shows the arrogance white people display when confronted with personal experiences.
Eyes: This will be VERY hard to watch for a lot of people. But it needs to be seen by everyone! It talks about white racism, and also racism in between PoC communities.

Watching the parts now.
This is from 1994, I’m only stumbling on it now, and the content is remarkable. I was maybe 18 minutes into it and what struck me already is that these are the same arguments and concepts I’m only now hearing in my life and wrapping my head around.. It’s 2012 now… Has anything changed at all?.. :(
Also: I can imagine some people are not going to get why that one man is so angry during the discussion—angry to the point that he starts yelling, and these people will brush off what points he’s trying to make because of it (that he is somehow not entitled to express his feelings on these matters), but it is all very valid if you can get your head around what all he has experienced or listen further.
I very much recommend watching.
